Samo da motor ne rikne
Mada Webberu je novi, Vettelu je novi. Samo da budu prizemni. Samo da Alonso ili Hamilton ne uzmu titulu

Vidio sam Webera juche, uzeo je 4 nove gume tu u Castelanu i jedan akomulator od 55 A. Nisam siguran ali mislim da je bio Vartin akomulator, a ne pitah ga koje je gume uzeo jer mu ih je onaj odma stavio u kesu, ali sam primijetio da su kramponke neke ne bi trebalo da je za bolid...

Schumacher ‘impressed’ with Mercedes team

Michael Schumacher has admitted that he is in awe of the Mercedes Grand Prix team’s work, with just two races now remaining in the 19-event 2010 season. Next weekend sees the seven-time World Champion return to Brazil, where he has won on four occasions in the past.

The German’s first Interlagos success came for Benetton in 1994, winning the opening race of the season as a chasing Ayrton Senna spun out of contention. Another Benetton success came a year later before two more São Paulo victories for Ferrari in 2000 and 2002.


“The season is coming to an end and I have to say that I am very impressed with how our guys have coped with it, especially in the last few flyaway races,” he commented.

“Even though we have not had any big developments recently, we have still delivered promising performances. The characteristics of the Interlagos circuit are not too far away from those of the last races, so we can go to Brazil in quite a confident mood.

“Our fighting spirit is good and we would like to finish the season in a positive way; so I am looking forward to going to São Paulo and hopefully achieving another result that I can be happy with.”

Hamilton: We may not have the fastest car

Drama and Lewis Hamilton have gone together for three consecutive years at the Brazilian Grand Prix, for highly different reasons on each occasion. In 2010, the McLaren driver hopes to seal a strong and clear-cut result in order to take the challenge for a second Drivers’ Championship to Abu Dhabi one week later.

Unlike title rivals Sebastian Vettel and Jenson Button, scoring at Interlagos is not an absolute necessity for Hamilton if he is to stay in the title race; however, the quest could come to an early end, should Fernando Alonso and Mark Webber’s results suffice in comparison to those of the 2008 Champion.

“I always seem to have a unique experience at Brazil,” says the Stevenage driver. “In my first year in Formula 1, I battled past a load of cars but could only finish seventh, losing out on the World Championship.

“The following year, I had another tricky race but managed to take fifth position on the final lap to win the world title. Last year, we got qualifying wrong, I started 17th and used KERS to boost my way up to third in one of the best races of my career. I guess what I’m saying is that I’d like a nice, straightforward race this year!

“We go to Brazil knowing that we may not have the fastest car, but we’ll have a decent package that should work well. We have a strong engine and good straight line speed, so I think we’ll still be quick – crucially, that combination should give us the opportunity to pass into the first corner, which is probably the best overtaking spot on the track.

“I know the World Championship is figuring in everybody’s thoughts at the moment, but I’m not thinking about it too much: I need to get a good result in Brazil to take the fight to Abu Dhabi, so that’s my priority. Whatever happens, it’s going to be a very tight battle.”

Boullier: D’Ambrosio race seat 95 percent sure

Eric Boullier, manager of Jérôme d’Ambrosio, has said that he is ’95 percent sure’ that the Belgian GP2 driver will make his Formula 1 race debut next year, with his final Friday drive for Virgin Racing coming in Brazil next weekend.

As planned, d’Ambrosio is driving in the first practice session on four race weekends for Virgin, replacing Lucas di Grassi in Singapore, Japan, Korea and Brazil.

However, Boullier, head of the Gravity Sport driver management company as well as being Team Principal of Renault F1, is confident over the 24-year-old’s future.

“We have almost 95 percent of the package needed to bring Jérôme D'Ambrosio into Formula 1,” the Frenchman told Belgian newspaper Het Nieuwsblad, with his driver already confirmed at Virgin for the post-season Young Driver test in Abu Dhabi.

“The remaining five percent is a matter of days. Then we go to Virgin – the team that made us a concrete proposal for 2011 in September - and their sponsors, who also both want to know what the situation is for next year.”

“I would love to go to the last race in Abu Dhabi with a contract signed and in our pocket.”

Räikkönen no longer looking at F1

Steve Robertson, manager of Kimi Räikkönen, has ended speculation that the 2007 World Champion could be returning to Formula 1 next year by stating that the Finn is now looking only at options to remain in the World Rally Championship (WRC).

31-year-old Räikkönen, who celebrated his birthday just under a fortnight ago, had been linked with a possible F1 comeback following his Ferrari departure at the end of 2009 although remaining with Citroën or a possible move to 2011 debutants Mini now seem the most likely WRC possibilities for next year.

“We're no longer looking at chances for returning to F1,” Robertson explained to Finnish broadcaster MTV3. “Kimi seems to be focused on rallying at the moment…never say never, but right now our eyes are not on F1.”

He went on to confirm that no WRC plans are yet in place either: “Nothing has been decided yet but we'll let you all know when there’s something to say. We’re in talks with several teams but, at the moment, nothing’s been signed.”

Sto se mene tice Raikkonen i ne nedostaje F1, kao da ga nikad nije ni bilo tu ))

Navika na ove engleske sajtove.

A sto znam. Nedostaje starijih vozaca. Ali bas.

Raikkonen vala i ne, on i Montoya ne definitivno, jer su posli iz F1 kao da su oni predobri vozaci za F1.... Pogotovo Montoya ) Treba da je srecan sto je tu )

Montoya je za McLaren bio predobar. Nije trebao iz Williamsa da ide jer je bio drugi vozac, a Raikkonen je otisao jer je bilo kako je bilo. Sta znam. Montoya, Ralf i Raikkonen...pa cak i Fisichella su mogli jos da ostanu u F1 kao aktivni vozaci. Ali jbg kad tim ne cijeni svoje vozace.

Raikkonen da je htio ostao bi duze, ali kad je osvojio titulu, katastrofalno je vozio, osvojio sve sto je imao pa nije imao vise motivacije... I onako je uvjek hladan vozac nekako bio, nije imao dobru komunikaciju sa novinarima... Ludak

Meni je najjace bilo 2007 kad je Iceman osvoji titulu u Brasil kako je proslavio... Podigao pehar samo kao da je obicna pobjeda... bas ga je boljelo za sve...
